Camp Breakaway - The Second Chapter
"Me and my brother have been bustin' to come back to camp"
In April 2010, we held Camp Breakaway The Second Chapter, run in partnership with Scripture Union. The camp held 23 children, 13 leaders and 4 cooks. Campers from the September were invited to this follow up camp.
A particular favourite time among the campers was the praise and worship. It seems that no matter how hectic, chaotic or restless the children were always ready to enter into a time of peace with song. These were wonderful moments.
It is hard to measure the impact that Camp Breakaway has on these lives…but there were a few moments which spoke of something divine.
