A Glance at Prison Fellowship West Australia

Time is so relative.

We can spend one day doing very little - especially when we don't feel well. And another day can see us jetsetting around, covering great distances, achieving great tasks.

A 'to-do' list is a great thing - looking back at old lists can be very revealing - we were worried then, we are worried now, and yet: the old worries are long forgotten.

Looking at this amazing sunset over West Coast Highway, I turned to my husband and said "Let's play a game called Counting our Blessings - you go first!" It too was revealing and good.

PFWA Sycamore Tree Project:
I remember the early days, when it was a struggle and a lot of worry to be allowed into ANY prison, now there a lots of courses happening in lots of prisons - counting blessings? The participants certainly are.

Art Competition:
continues to build bridges in lots of places: with prisoners, chaplains, education officers in the prisons, Dept of Corrective Services. Members of Parliament and Justices viewing and purchasing prisoner art.

Children and Family Worker: Candice continues to develop this critical portfolio for children which compliments other areas of ministry which target the adults affected by crime.

See the relevant tabs for more info.

Days roll around - next time the sky looks glorious, pause and give thanks to Him. Complain to Him too - He knows your heart anyway and He prefers honesty (is it too corny to call Him the Warrior of our Worries?)
